PS3 Japan Launch: Lines are forming, here we go! |

We thought it would happen at the last minute, and lo and behold it is taking place this early. After news that some punks were chased away for attempting to camp at a local retailer to get a head start at getting the PS3. News breaks that stores are lightening up and are letting people line up for the November 11 launch of the PS3.
The body count so far? Kotaku reports that it's 200 strong! I'll use this time to quote Bullet-tooth Tony and say, "you lucky bast**ds." Of course I'm really just saying this in jest, nothing against you Japanese folks. We're just envious and all that. Now for something Otaku-ish a sad emoticon face: o(TT_TT)o
The first guy on the line has been there since 7am. Kudos to him.

With the UK price likley to be twice the price for the equivalent Japanese ps3 bundle I will be showing my disaproval to sony by not buying the PS3 any time soon. I suggest other British Gamers do the same, stand up and stop being ripped off just because we are British.
I do have a ps one, ps2 psp, trinitron TV, Sony surround unit and sony dvd player, its not that I am anti Sony, Just anti paying £450 + for a games console.

I've seen it available in HK. One shop had both 20G HDD and 60G HDD PS3 in stock. the 20G HDD version was $7999 HKD and for the 60G HDD version it just said $7999 + $1xxx HKD.

Im pretty sure in one of the pictures there (The top left one in that group of eight), you cant see the lps3 ine, and you just see people waiting to pile onto the subway...
