PS3 falls to No. 8 at Amazon UK |

Gaming news site Punch Jump informs all of us that Sony Corporation's PlayStation 3 console has fallen to Number 8 at Amazon.com's UK division after solid pre-order sales were seen during launch late march.Prior to the launch, the PS3 held the number 1 and number 2 sales positions on the PC and Video Games division top-seller rankings. Upon release, the console fell to number 4. This week's chart track also report that PS3 game title sales fell 60 percent in their second week at retail, and as most of you already probably know, console sales fell 80 percent.
This doesn't mean a definite drop in consumer interest though, as other PlayStation related items remain in the retailer's top ten chart, including the SIXAXS at number 4, and MotorStorm at number 6.
The wait for Lair, FFXIII, MGS4, White Knight Story, Heavenly Sword, LocoRoco 2, and that new Team ICO project just seems so much more painful.

I think that ps3 will remain the best console for the next 6-7 years. in the older generation of consoles the xbox was more powerful but the most popular i think it was the ps2. this evening ill get my ps3!!!!!!!!!!!! with nfs carbon and blazing angels....
what? you think the ps3 will REMAIN the best console?
Right now IT ISN'T it has the lowest sales, the lowest amount of games, the lowest support, and the lowest future game list.
sorry but if it REMAINS anything like this...it is DOOMED.
