Devil May Cry 4's Dante - Image 1Sony PlayStation 3 owners in Australia who've been waiting for the demo of Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 should be informed that there's been a slight change of plans. While the demon-slaying title's demo on the Microsoft Xbox 360 will go online this January 31 as planned, it won't appear on the PS3 until February.

According to Kotaku Australia, Activision sent word that Devil May Cry 4's PS3 demo will go live on the PlayStation Network come February 1. No reason was given behind this slight delay, and we're not certain if all regions will be affected.

It was previously believed that Devil May Cry 4 demos will available on January 31 in the US, but Capcom recently announced that those in North America get their hands on Nero and Dante as early as January 24. According to various sources, gamers in the U.S. and European Xbox 360 owners will be the fortunate ones to first avail of the demos. The DMC4 demo will hit PSN Europe and Australian XBL on January 31.

"READ" the news.

"According to Kotaku Australia, Activision sent word that Devil May Cry 4's PS3 demo will go live on the PlayStation Network come February 1." Since when does Activision make decisions on a game made by Capcom? lmao

So..

Does this only affect Australia or all regions. I guess we will know when tomorrow when it doesn't show up.

@ Orlyeh

Its Tomorrow (Jan.24) for both PS3 and 360 Users. This article supposedly pertains to those who are in European Countries and are PS3 users only, as Activision is the one that published DMC4 there. I think everyone else is clear though, as the Capcom announcement (Until noted otherwise) is still in effect. http://blog.capcom.com/archives/790

Activision

Activision is the one that publish the game in Australia thus is why Activision is involved in this article, Capcom is still the maker of the game, but Activision is publishing it for Australia @Stealth, this news more or less effect the European countries, though I could be wrong, however it seems its geared heavily to the EU areas

...

They have a countdown for a DEMO?! I mean, for the real thing, I would understand that, but for a demo?! I think this is a bit exaggerated... LOL.... And what about the delay on 1st February? What can they change in ONE day?!

14 More Minutes?

They never release the new stuff on the Playstation Store right at midnight, at least here on the west coast of the United States they don't. I just checked before I came on here and nope, nothing new yet as of 3:45am PST.

.

Just got it from XBL about 4 hours ago. I had a minute to test it before I went to work, and it looked and felt awesome.

OMFG

QJ, this is the worst badgering I've seen yet. The demo gets delayed 1 whole day in Australia and the headline reads "PS3 demo pushed back!!!!"
