PS3 Checklist Of Games This Fall |
Ó
With the release date of the PS3 looming ever closer, lots of us are already telling ourselves what games to get first once the this next-gen console finally makes its way into our living rooms. There will of course be some obvious choices, but with so many titles being announced, sometimes one just loses track. So, as a bit of a nudge in a certain direction (which is still better than wandering around aimlessly), the people over at IGN have compiled a list of game titles that gives bang for its buck. Well, if there's still any bucks left to spend on games after buying the console, that is. If not, then at least we'll know what to put in our letter to Santa.

I wonder if NFL '07 will be a straight port of the 360 version or enhanced for PS3 like Fight Night. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
this is truly a strange list! only 3 of my top anticipated games are in and I have like 20 of those:P And how many people plays madden? never seen anyone playing that game:S football is just not big at all anywere else than in usa...
I request a bigger and better list with like 40 games and not just games you hear about all the time...
If THIS is the list thats coming out for the PS3 at release... Im dissapointed! ... This sucks! As said before, you hear about these games all the time and are prolly mostly ported from elsewhere....
wtf is the GT HD, Metal Gear, new Finalfantasy etc? blaaahh!
Those games won't be out till later, it's a list of games you should be able to get around launch.
I'm still planning on getting a PS3 at launch but... I'm looking for motorstorm, assassin's creed and other titles that I'll be waiting for.
What about GTA 4? That game is supposed to be released in October. I think it should have been on the list.
oh... I'm already throught FEAR.^^ the late bird catches the worm?
Am I right that ALL of these games come out or are already out on PC?
LOL... these japanese guys were right when they said: "The PS3 is a computer"
And just btw: on PC these games are much cheaper to buy.
I would not even buy the PS3 if i had a crappy computer where i wouldn't be able to play those games.

October 2007.
Also the PS3 has 24 launch (11/17/06) titles according to IGN. That might be a record for a new console.
Yup, you're right. Sorry about that, I thought it was 2006.
Resistance: Fall of Man (FPS - November 17, 2006 - Insomniac Games/Sony CE)
Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom (RPG - November 17, 2006 - Sony Online)
Get those on your PC, bloody troll.
And to everyone, note that this is just what they want to be playing on PS3 this fall, and it's a short list, not the whole line-up of PS3 games. Stop jumping to conclusions for reasons to bash Sony.
