PS3 fans, rejoice! Redemption has come at hand! And rather swiftly, too. Remember all that noise that blogger noob created after claiming that his PS3 burned down his house after leaving it on overnight? Well, it's only been a little over a week since he boldly posted that claim. But now, he's taken it back. All back. Waaaay back.Yup, the guy's come clean. He says in his blog that it's not true his house burned down because of his PS3. In fact, he doesn't even own one! Amazing what some people find amusing. Well, we're pretty sure he's learned his lesson about crying wolf, especially after Sony's legal head "made it nice and clear that I need to let everyone know it was all just a scam."
And why wouldn't Sony demand that? After all, it really was damaging for the corporation, image-wise and profit-wise. And with over 200 calls from people concerned about their PS3s, that surely gave Sony a lot of damage-control tasks.
So, to finally clear the air, noob lied about getting his house burned because of a PS3. Noob lied about ever having one. Noob learned the lesson never to cry wolf. Now that's something we could all pick up and learn from.

I doubt any gaming console could start a fire. If they get too hot to run properly, don't they just turn off?
I personally can't believe his lie got as wide-spread as it did, but take a well-informed source like QJ and post it as news, you're gonna have a lot of people believing it's true. And I'm not being sarcastic. This is the only site I get all my gaming news from.

When I told my friend George Clooney, he knew it was a lie too, although when we told George Bush, he insisted we invade Sony to find the Playstations of house destruction (PHDs). :|

Please QJ writers, stop posting rumors! Especially the ones that are obviously fake and will only create flame wars on your forums and comment sections. This is bad for your image as a respectable news site.
I have considered leaving this site, but there are few others that have as much content. For this reason, I ask you to please stop the flaming.
