PS3 betting stopped in Europe

PS3 - Image 1There's been a bit of wheeling and dealing gone wrong in Europe as betting outfit Paddy Power held a game letting bettors stake bids on what the price scheme for the European Sony PlayStation 3 will be following the US price drop.

Paddy Power representative Sharon McHugh said in an earlier statement "We can only apologise and maybe we should have made it clearer in the press release."

GamesIndustry.biz reveals that the firm cancelled all the bets placed on the stakes and instead are offering patrons a free novelty betting option for the same amount in place of the cancelled contest.

The cancellation is a result of Sony announcing that prices will stay as they are, at least for the time being in the market, prompting Paddy Power to do its move despite having the scenario as one of the options.

The European version of the PS3 console arrived in the European market earlier this year and carries a different set of specs from its American and Japanese counterparts. A markdown in retail cost was earlier announced in the US but no official word is out for Europe.

try this once you have nothin to lose!

Please read this, you will be excited. When you click this link, http://xrl.us/2z4h you will go to a website that will show you how to sign up for another website that pays you 2 - 45$ (PER) to do surveys, sign up for trial offers, and test products. Companies such as ebay pay CC to have people try their offers, and when you complete an offer, CC simply passes the money onto you. By spending an average of 3-4 hours a week on cascrate, I have made 472$ in May, 412$ in June, and 271$ (SO FAR) in July. You get paid in real checks from "KNGSIDE MEDIA" every month that you earn 10 dollars or more. It may seem too good to be true, but I assure you it IS true. Also, with their referral program, you can refer people by sending them your link (you get when you sign up) and for every buck they earn, you get 20 cents also! (Think how much money you can make if you have 100 people making five bucks a day) You do not have to enter your credit card or social security number. Nothing Harmful can come from CC. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE 18 OR OLDER, I AM 15 YEARS OLD AND REFERRING PEOPLE, AND I MAKE THIS MUCH MONEY A MONTH JUST SPENDING A COUPLE MINUTES A DAY ON THE COMPUTER! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING THIS. Think it's a scam? Read this(from the website) "We assure you that this is not a scam! Companies need consumers to try and review products, services, and websites and are willing to pay money to have them do so. Most of the time you're asked to do this without any compensation, what we do is take the money companies give us for YOUR participation, and give you back up to 75% of it!" There are alot of websites like this, I have tried almost all of them and this really is the best, and legit one.In addition there is a new UK section opened with more then $200 worth of free offers! [NO AGE REQUIREMENT, NO CREDIT CARD, NO DETAILED INFORMATION, AND YOU DONT HAVE TO GIVE A SINGLE PENNY!] VISIT HERE FOR MORE INFO, MORE PICX OF CHEQUES, TIPS AND GUIDE FOR EASY CASH! http://xrl.us/2z4h AND FOR A QUICK PROOF OF PAYMENT.... http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/078f947140.jpg

taking all bets!

Who wants to bet the PS3 will lose all support from both sony and third party software by 2012? I'd be willing to bet my life savings it won't last near 10 years. Imagine if the PS2 was still around for another 3 years, and that was sony's biggest success almost from the start! I mean, how the hell can it possibly last any longer than that? Nobody really wants to make and exclusive games for it now, and it just came out! It has "Gamecube syndrome" nothing but multiplatform games, and just a handful of mediocre first party titles.
