PS3 ad spills beans on TV show downloads |

A new video advertisement was posted showing the various features of the said console. Apparently, there's one snippet that caught our eyes. Even though it was just shown for a limited time, we saw icons of different TV networks, such as HBO, Cartoon Network, NBC, and the CW.
Now, this is certainly something to note. Network logos? Could this mean that there's a possibility that users can download TV shows in the future? Hopefully. But as of writing, nothing has been confirmed about this. Time will tell if things will become a reality.
For the meantime, watch the clip we've provided below. Do keep an eye out for the logos we mentioned. We'll hook you guys up with the latest news and developments on this matter.

the last thing the playstation needs is some guy dancing ffs get it together, your ads are ***** weve add a cowboy one which is truely sad and now we have this guy anyway the guy above mentioned the search thing, its play tv because freeview you have to search, although its not concrete but i do believe its playtv shame i saw a good series when i was in holiday on NBC, would have liked to download it but then again does america have freeview

Now, playtv is hardware + software thing. The today video just show tv networks in the same store that means is a video store that sony already said is in the works. When will go out? I don't know because they advertise home before any release date. Anyway the thing is that this and playtv are just two different things.
None of the would be channels in any country where Play TV is to launch as they are premium (pay) whereas Freeview is well, free..
