Prototype official website now online |
Ó
The upcoming open world venture of Sierra Entertainment and Radical Entertainment can only be described as mysterious, what with a genetically enhanced protagonist who can transform his arms into creepy claws and a version of New York that doesn't seem like a nice place to visit. To give everyone a feel of its dark atmosphere, an official website is now up for Prototype (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC).Featuring Alex Mercer, a victim of fiddling with genetics that caused an outbreak of the unknown virus which devastated New York, Prototype promises a "vast array of deadly biological weaponry." On the game's website, you'll learn more about his claws and the ability to attack using ground spikes.
Those who haven't been keeping tabs on Prototype can also do themselves justice by visiting the official website's media page, where you'll find a couple of trailers, a slew of screenshots, and concept art to boot. Find what we're talking about by clicking on the "via" link below.

And knew a guy who worked there did a game in assembly instead of C/C++ (took 3 times longer) then left the company (yeah if you worked in Radical you probably heard about this story too and his name is C**** Fox). I have to say that this is a game I am really waiting for this year. Sure beats driving with the Simpsons ;)
