Project Siren for PS3 Wants You...Yes, You! |
Ó

Why work for a greasy fastfood joint when there's so much cooler jobs out there? Where you ask? The team behind the upcoming Siren sequel are looking for fresh talents to work on the PS3 game.
Project Siren for PS3 is a sequel to Siren (aka Forbidden Siren in Europe) released in Japan in 2003 and Siren 2 (released early this year). The original PS2 gameplay is set in a land-locked village in Japan that disappears following the loud blaring of a siren. You thought that was creepy? A few hours after the village gets the Bermuda Triangle treatment, the villagers emerge from blood-red waters now surrounding the remnants of their hometown - all of them zombies - further causing property values to plummet.
Players choose from one of the characters who did not undergo the transformation - teenage boy, blind girl and a teacher. The goal is to escape from the nightmare town without being torn apart by the zombies. Forbidden Siren's haunting setting, realistic characters and unnerving camera techniques have this one of the most chilling games around.
Siren 2 takes place on Yamijima - an Japanese island infested with Shibito and Yami Bito. No, they're not carnivorous mushrooms but demons.
But where were we? Oh, yes the job. The Project Siren is looking for game developers. If you have the skills for CG designs (stages, characters, motion, prop archives, GUI, effects and real-time demo movies) you can check their website for details. Two more things, you must be able to read and speak Japanese. Wait a minute, if you have any of those skills you wouldn't be frying dead cows disguised as patties in the first place.
