Pre-order deals to My Sony members in Singapore

Sony has a special deal on the PS3 units that will be released in Singapore: Sony Singapore is offering a pre-order deal locally for My Sony members:

Sony Singapore has just announced a special pre-order offer for My Sony members of the eagerly-awaited Sony PlayStation 3 (60GB HDD version). The PlayStation 3 will be priced at $963 [Singaporean dollars] inclusive of two games: Resistance: Fall of Man and Ridge Racer 7.

Let us do the math for you: 963 Singaporean dollars are around US$ 631. In the U.S., people can buy a PS3 unit over at retail stores, say Best Buy, for US$ 599. Other countries are offering the unit for higher prices.

The PlayStation 3 will be released in Singapore on March 7. There is still no word, until now, regarding the 20GB HDD version.
