PlayStation Store update: Now new content for this week, new tutorial video for next - Image 1For those hoping to run into more goodies for this week's PSN update, you may be in for a bit of disappointment.

PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen is reminding everybody that there is no update for the week, though the store will still be up and running.

We're not sure, but it looks like Sony's withholding any more new merchandise from arriving on the PlayStation Store until after its facelift is completed. Chen does remind the users that Warhawk's special price markdown to US$ $29.99 is still ongoing, so you may want to purchase the this title if you still haven't joined in on the multiplayer mayhem.

Topping off the update, Chen notes that they're also preparing a walk-through video for the PlayStation Store's new look, and that it should be out next week. On a last note, we remind that viewers that the revamp is strictly for the PlayStation 3's store - Chen states that there are currently no plans to alter the PlayStation Store (PC). That's the latest 411 on Sony's plans for the PlayStation Store. Visit us again in case more details are announced.

"Now new content" ? that should read "No new content"

» Kinda misleading too

It sounds like they now have new updates.

I think it's time they should start using a spelling and grammer checker. They really do work!!!

Also, "Sony's remind everybody that...."

» unfotunately...

Spelling and Grammar check wouldn't catch the inaccuracy since it the grammar is correct (although not ideal) and "now" is spelled correctly. Proof reading is still the best way to catch the mistakes. Most people are just to lazy to do it.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

"On a last note, we remind that viewers that the revamp is strictly for the PlayStation 3's store - Chen states that there are currently no plans to alter the PlayStation Store (PC)."

Too funny! I specificly asked this question over at PS3News back when this news first broke. The A-Hole user named PS3News gave me crap about how stupid of a question it was and that OF COURSE both are going to be changed.

Well, here's to you JERKOFF PS3News!!! You are WRONG.

He said "We're not sure, but it looks like Sony's withholding any more new merchandise from arriving on the PlayStation Store until after its facelift is completed."

errr, check the playstation blog (where the guy found the news anyway) and you see this:

"Customers will be able to access, browse, shop and download content as usual prior to the store’s re-opening. However, no additional downloadable content will be posted prior to then, including this Thursday, April 3rd, and next Thursday, April 10th. Regularly scheduled content updates will resume with the Store’s re-opening, at which time additional games and game-related items will be added, including the downloadable version of the highly-anticipated exclusive PS3 title Gran Turismo 5 Prologue."

Anyway, Tim Y., if you wanna say things right and change the post (in other words: update the post), check this link:
