Remember the God of War-inspired track reportedly being prepped for the PS3 port of Guitar Hero 3 for this month? Chuck Park of RedOctane and Activision recently updated his PlayStation Blog with more information regarding this upcoming release.

For starters, Park notes that the track in question is a rock interpretation of "The End Begins (To Rock)," the theme song for God of War 2 on the PlayStation 2. This add-on will be made available on the PlayStation Store - look under the Add-On content page for the track. The download will also be free, so you don't have to worry about saving up enough cash to purchase the track.

An audio track will also be made available via PlayStation Store in case you're opting to preview the song. In the mean time, Park also uploaded a trailer of this upcoming GH3 track. We've posted it below for your viewing pleasure - enjoy it while you wait for its appearance on PSN later today.
