When Joust was revealed for the PlayStation Network a few days ago, a couple of us have been stricken with reminiscent memories of ages long past. And while Joust has been out on XBLA for quite some time now, it's always good to release the DLC across different networks.

We've got more details about the PlayStation Network release for the 1982 reincarnation today. Originally developed and published by Williams Electronics, the arcade title will roll out on May 24 - that's tomorrow! - and will cost US$ 4.99. Simple and yet addictive, Joust (PSN) will include online multiplayer support, as well as leaderboards and score systems.

We've got less than 24 hours now before it comes out, so before we don our shining armor and ride our, err, trusty ostrich steeds, here are a couple more screens straight from the press release:

Joust should be cheaper. More like $ 0.99.
