PlayStation Magazine enlists Twisted Metal for PS3

David Jaffe has said that while he would love the idea of a new Twisted Metal, he isn't. That's what he said, alright, but the Official PlayStation Magazine is saying otherwise.

 

 

 

 

The July edition of the magazine actually enlists "Twisted Metal" on their "Top PS3 Games". Now, it could very well be a wishlist of sorts, but considering that every other title in the list is officially announced, then I guess we gotta trace where the smoke is coming from.

I sound this somewhere else. The way he said it sounds like someone else is working on the title. Twisted Metal has had some pretty strong rumors recently, where there is smoke in this industry, there is usually fire.

I would honestly love another twisted metal game. But let's think about that for a sec, this specific franchise USED to offer a whole lot (Black was Ace, IMO), But the PS1 gen almost completely drove the franchise into the ground.

What would a reboot to the franchise on current gen consoles bring to the table that past iterations haven't already, other than a good multiplayer experience and high res FMV and graphics on BR....

...wait.

MAKE ANOTHER TM!!!!
