PlayStation Home plays host to the Watchmen |
Ó
"Dude, our avatars are so gonna look cool."
Feels like PlayStation Home is finally starting to fulfill its potential. Home will be the official venue for an interview with the director of the new Watchmen movie, Zack Snyder, and the artist of the graphic novel, Dave Gibbons.
The event is set for February 23 at 4 p.m. GMT. Although the interview will be limited to an audience of 10 guests, the event will be streamed in webcast that will include footage from the movie. The interviewers will be composed of journalists, bloggers, and fans. Don't get your hopes up though, this is invitation-only. Though you can hack one of their Home accounts and steal their spot for the interview. Just don't tell them I said that.
The interview is only part of a bigger plan to promote Watchmen in PlayStation Home. Footage from the film will be released at the Home Cinema, and Home content will be released on the 27th, which will include costumes, t-shirts, and a Doomsday clock. For people who like Doomsdays.
Hopefully we'll see more of these kind of activities at Home. I'm particularly hoping they'll have events for Transformers 2, the next Harry Potter film (I forgot what number we're at now), and Iron Man 2. And... um... Dragonball: Evolution :D
