PlayStation Home dev support expands - Image 1

Looks like PlayStation Home may finally be getting the dev base it needs to finally get moving. The service now officially has 24 devs supporting the service, with studios like Koei, Sega, and Disney signing on. Hopefully that means we'll find more stuff to actually do at Home.

Some of them have been supporting the service for some time now and have already made their presence felt. Capcom, for one, will be releasing the Resident Evil 5 space, and the Street Fighter IV costumes and collectibles. Ubisoft launched their Far Cry space last month and EA launched their Sports Complex.

Wonder what the others have in store though. I'd love a 2D arcade game where my avatar can race Sonic in an 8-bit obstacle course. Probably won't happen, but hey, I'm just saying what I wanna see. Conspicuously absent is Square Enix, which is a huge loss since that means no Home stuff from Final Fantasy XIII.

I get the whole Take Two thing from the first comment. It would be nice to have outfits and accessories from GTA games but Microsoft? Are you serious? Never

Microsoft suppose to be a joke, 'cause there were rumors going around how they used Home to hold meetings.

» LOL...Rockstar

Rockstar joining Home would be funny. They will probably allow mugging people at Home.

» the battle for Home supremacy

if only square enix have more people to build their games and create a community at Home! that could be a win win situation coz they can easily market their games and merchandizes.

PSN users can buy Square-Enix stuff like action figures using PSN money and deliver it to their doorsteps.

» Imagine that,

People walking around home dressed as Cloud and Sephiroth!

The only outfits unlockable at the moment are the Ice game one and 'Echochrome'... I want a Buster Blade!
