A few days ago, Sony revealed the new Media and Events Space on the PlayStation Home beta. Once Home launches, the Space will serve as a place for first- and third-party groups to host their own productions for residents of Home.

For now though, the Media and Events Space is only open for Beta Testers. The developing studio to get first dibs on the Space is Ubisoft, who gives beta testers their own virtual experience of Ubidays, the company's annual trade show.

This goes to show how powerful Home can be once it launches. It's certainly a boon when conventions and trade shows are no longer limited to physical attendance. No more interstate and international traveling, and no more sold-out tickets. Marvelous.

Ubidays on PlayStation Home launched yesterday, and showcased new titles from Ubisoft. Likely these are games they also unveiled in the real-world Ubidays like Tom Clancy's EndWar, Far Cry 2 and Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Here's a video a beta tester generously shared. The vid's shaky, but we take what we can get, right? Here you go:

I don't really consider Ubidays an event. Also, why is this all this Home news coming out. That's like telling me what you are getting me for Christmas in 2010. It's pointless right now. Hardly anyone will be messing with Home because everyone will be playing Duke Nukem Forever. They should just cancel Home cause from what I have seen they have taken a good concept and then ruined it completely.

I dunno about anyone else, but I honestly don't even care about Duke Nukem at all... I'm not really excited about Home either, I just want the stuff that come with it, like in-game XMB and voice messages.

» I agree..

with lilmetal down there. Even though the whole point in Home is the features..

But DNA its funny as hell seeing everytime theres Home news you always mention that gay duke nukem game. Watch out when you say "everyone" cause I'm not going to buy it and I'm guessing lilmetal wont either. So speak for yourself man.

They shouldn't cancel Home at all, it'll come out when it comes out, your just complaining because you can't sit there and wait.

Home has grown since the "good concept" that you saw, because not only will the good stuff that you've seen be there, but there's going to be way more features packed on top when it releases.

"That's like telling me what you are getting me for Christmas in 2010. It's pointless right now."

lol, thats like saying trailers are pointless. Their mean't to show off whats in store for you when you get the game or service in this case. Anyways Home isn't ruined, your just tired of waiting for it.. and all I can say to that is too bad, wait like the rest of us.

» HOME will be great!

Home should be pretty sweet. I'm glad they are taking their time with it. It's much more important that it's done right.

» Home is gonna be swhill

PS3 should work on getting gta4 online working right b4 doing anything else. And all the lame fanboys that are gonna say oh its Rockstar not PS3 your full of sh** cuz gta4 seems to work perfectly online for 360. Just get what we have out working properly. I bought a PS3 after my 360 rrod 3 different times on 3 different machines thinking the PS3 would be a no hassle console guess I was wrong. They both suck in their own way. and are both sweet in their own way.

» wtf?

Is it you that keeps mentioning this everytime Home or Firmware news comes out? Cause damn, everywhere I look I see basically this same post.

Just like I said before (and this doesn't make anyone a fanboy for saying this), its rockstar. Obviously this problem isn't on the 360, but you notice how this problem isn't in other ps3 games like Resistance, Motorstorm, guitar hero, and Cod4. Thats proof right there that it has to be something in the game thats causing the ps3 to freeze, cause if it were the ps3 it'd happen with every game (not just GTA). Now I don't think GTA IV is too much for the ps3 to handle lol, so its a bug in the game.

Your right in saying the two systems have their own problems but this isn't one of them, this is rockstars problem that THEY need to fix. You payed money for this game and it doesn't even work, yet you buy another game and it will. So try and think about it before you blame the system when its about the only game out right now thats having this major problem.
