PlayStation Arc button configuration detailed |

Interested in finding out what the button configurations are for the PlayStation Arc? Neogaf poster Ichinisan is claiming that he's seen the latest pictures of the Arc and proceeds to describe them in full detail.
As to the Nunchuck:
"Nunchuk has an analog stick at the front, below that X and O and below that a D-pad. Underneath is L1 and L2. It's actually long, not like the Wii Nunchuk."

And now, the Wand:
"As for the Wand it has one very big button on top and then all four facebuttons (X, O, Square and Triangle) and underneath is a big trigger called T."
To top all of that, he throws in a comment from one developer contact, "It is highly responsive and accurated (the quote I heard was 'Like a quick Wii remote that's right every time')."
GDC isn't so far away, and they did say they'll be officially debuting the Arc there, so we'll be seeing it ourselves soon enough.

It's nunchuckless, claimed to be more responsive and quicker at registering.

Wiimote is 2D tracking, you gan only show the pointer left or right, and up and down.

No u got it wrong..
The z axis is the depth.
But, yes wiimote can detect the distance from the screen (the depth) but not all the time only while pointing toward the screen where is the sensor
But u may ask how it can detect motion of a punch toward the screen in a boxing game while not aiming to the sensor?
The answer it doesn't recognize the motion direction or location in the room in fact u may punch toward the wall not to the screen and still the game count it. Because the wiimote in that case only detect the acceleration movement of the punch.
My point is... if we used the same boxing game example with the Arc it can tell where are you in the room and wither you are punching the screen or to another direction without pointing toward the screen all the time.
Ok, using the term "3D tracking" is misleading but what we meant is a 3D vector movement tracking in the room by calculating the distance, locati on and direction of the wand in the room in real time.

2-Also the developers can utilize the other PlayStation Eye features not available in the wii..like gestures and face recognition and tracking advanced enough to identify features such as eyes, mouth, eyebrows, nose, eyeglasses and smile.
3-The other thing, it is completely different technology used. I'll try to simplify it :-
a. The wiimote is basically an IR camera only sensitive to infrared & the sensor bar is the fixed source of IR.
The camera inside the wiimote recognize that IR to calculate its position when aiming to the screen, so it has a limited viewing angle.
b. The Arc work differently where the PlayStation eye camera in fixed location it register the colored LED light from the spherical shape from any angle.
And beside the accelerometer PlayStation eye analyze the wand angulation and distance with simple algorithms with minimal processing lag through the Cell.
c. Also with the built-in SixAxis (two accelerometers not like the wiimote only one accelerometer) means it can determine the angulation even if the controller transiently obscured behind the player's back.

Yea this is way better than the Wii remote. This is 1:1 tracking and I hate Infared tracking anyway its very dated tech (although cheap)
