PlayStation 3: MotorStorm additional content to arrive soon

Additional content slated for Motorstorm - Image 1More content will be arriving for MotorStorm soon. This Playstation 3 exclusive will be getting new tracks, a "weekend pass", as well as new vehicles. This information is pretty solid since it came from Evolution Studios and Sony themselves.

The developers sent out a scan from their new marketing campaign to fansite PS3 Evolution which announces Coyote Revenge weekend. In addition to this, an e-mail from the UK PlayStation Network also announced Vehicle Packs 1 and 2 for the game.

In case you haven't heard of it yet, Coyote Revenge is the reverse track of Coyote while the weekend pass is rumored to have the Eagle's Nest map (showcased at E3).

This looks to be a very solid update that should make fans of the game very happy. No exact dates were given, so we'll have to play this one by ear. Still, it's very comforting to know that we'll be getting more downloadable content for this great game.

what i miss in motorstorm is more singleplayer modes and split screen. i really don't care about new tracks and new vehicles, if they don't fix that first.

actually it only has the ticket championship and later "time attack" was added. in time attack there are no opponets, no number of laps options, just infinite amount of tries for the best time of 1 lap. there are ghosts though, which can be downloaded from other players.

This game blows! They couldn't include time attack mode in the beginning? Only mindless career mode and online, which the Japanese version didn't even get. No split screen, or the announced 60fps @ 1080p gameplay? There's not even new vehicles, just new skins. Then there's a "new track" that's actually just an old one in reverse. The only thing more pathetic than this download is the fact you have to pay for it after paying $60 for the game!
