We all love a cryptic puzzle here at QJ and it appears that we have got what we wished for with the launch of Sony's PLAYB3YOND PS3 game teaser site. The site appears to have been launched to tie in with a new alternate reality game according to reports from across the internet and it is supposed to tie in with the launch of the PS3. In fact, one of our tipsters, Metallic force, has been in touch with us to give you, our dedicated readers a few hints on how to crack this puzzle.
The image above shows an odd keyboard-style layout overlaying the site's weird shapes that look like the playstation "Power of 4" symbols. Use this excellent keyboard and code cracker to help yourself get access to exciting things like exclusive videos. We do have a feeling though that this website has much more to offer. Have fun getting exclusive content with these cracking codes and don't forget to watch this space, there's much more to see in the month running up to the launch of the PS3 on November 17.
People have already been hard at work and cracking the code of the cryptic puzzle created in flash. And apparently their hard-work have paid off as forumites of the world seem to unite to decrypt it. For example, using this pattern, when you spell out "factorfive" you'll be able to get your hands on a Lair trailer. Spelling "music" will enable you to hear the Genji soundtrack.
Now that you have the pattern and the words you should spell, we leave the spelling chores to you so as you could treat yourself to more surprises. We should admit that this is a slick marketing move on Sony's part, but hey, you may think otherwise.
