PixelJunk Shooter 2 development in full swing, free PixelJunk Shooter demo level coming next week |

Fans of the PixelJunk series have probably heard by now that there's a PixelJunk Shooter sequel in the works. It may have been a bit unsurprising, but Q-Games today officially confirmed that production for the game is in full swing.
Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert stayed away from specifics, but he did confirm that PixelJunk Shooter 2 will have "some features that are new to the PixelJunk series in general and will be bigger than the first game."
"We’re busy implementing all the ideas that were left on the drawing board for the first game to make Shooter 2 as jam-packed full of crazy fun as possible," he posted. "I’m pretty sure we won’t make a Shooter 3 because everything and the kitchen sink (probably quite literally) is going into Shooter 2."
Cuthbert also announced that those who haven't tried out PixelJunk Shooter yet can look forward to a free demo level on May 25th. Said Cuthbert, "The level has explosive gas, magma, water, tons of cool enemies, volcanic eruptions and you can wreak all kinds of havoc with the fluid physics."
