GameHead's Geoff Keighley interviews Pete Wanat, Executive Producer at Sierra Entertainment. It was revealed that the remake isn't just an up-scaling of Starbreeze Studios' Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay - instead it's more of a reworking of the game. It was noted that all the textures and a lot of content are being reworked so that the game has a true next-gen feel to it.
It was also noted that a lot of the new content will expand upon the story of the original, and that a lot of it will take place immediately after the story of the first. The game is set to be made for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation3. Click play below and get a better idea.

MAKE THE GAME FOR THE PS3 FIRST /caps off
As a ps3 owner im tired of *****y 360 18FPS ports. please build the game on the cell BB engine and port it to 360.
This could be a great game would hate to see it crippled by a *****y port to PS3 like THPS8 COD3 F.E.A.R ect ect.
