Logo of Sony's PlayStation Network - Image 1It looks like European gamers have a lot to look forward. The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) website revealed a whopping 25 new titles which have been recently rated for PlayStation Store Europe.

While several of these titles have already been introduced on the PlayStation Network (PSN) in other regions, this certainly spells good news for gamers in the PAL region who want to score on some of the classic titles from the original PlayStation console.

Gamers can expect the official announcement of the release of these games on PSN Europe one of these days. Until then, here's the list of titles taken from the PEGI site and their respective game genre categories:
  • Bust a Groove (Other/Music games)

They're PS1 titles you tar.

» One fell swoop

So, in one big swoop, they'll have already exceeded the number of titles available on the US store without even counting the stuff they've already got released. We've got what? 21-22 titles now with a single new one added roughly every other week? Meanwhile, Nintendo's getting out at least 3 games every week on the Wii's Virtual Console. For those claiming licensing problems, if Nintendo has no issues with licensing titles for re-release, what's Sony's excuse?

I'm expecting a big flood of PS1 games at some point, even though I'm confident it'll never happen.
