You've probably seen a Heavenly Sword clip floating around for the past few days called "The Legend of the Sword". Well, whether you were cable to catch it or not, we've got some good news. The second part of the animation short has finally flung its way into the gaming community, and we're posting up both videos today. Consider it a two-for-one whammy!

For those who are unaware of the webisodes, you might want to consider these as what The Animatrix did for The Matrix trilogy. The Legend of the Sword is an animated series from Ninja Theory that tells of the Heavenly Sword's origins, how Nariko's acquired it, and King Bohan's attempts in claiming it. Yep, the backstory.

It's done in the art style reminiscent of other works like Samurai Jack, The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker, Star Wars: Clone Wars, and even 300. Ninja Theory's animated series is to be done in five installments, the first two of which (meaning the clips we have today) are to be included in the retail version of Heavenly Sword as bonuses in the Extras menu.

Just in case you start drooling, keep a box of tissue handy. Breathing is also compulsory. Now, curtains up!

I love the animation style. Very 'Samurai Jack'. I only wish the videos were longer...
