Pachter sticks to his prediction, expects GTA V in 2010 |
Ó

Michael Pachter's back on the prediction path. This time, he's thrown in his hat into the "When will Rockstar release Grand Theft Auto V?" guessing game once again, reiterating his earlier estimate that we'll see a new GTA in 2010.
Pachter's prediction is actually earlier than the release period estimated by Anthony Gikas of Piper Jaffray last week. According to the Wedbush Morgan analyst, they still expect a GTA game to be released in calendar 2010, but "it is not clear that the game will be released before the end of Take-TwoÂ’s fiscal year ending October 31."
Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick, on the other hand, said earlier this year that 2010 will be "a year that won't have a multiplatform release of a new GTA."

Just as true as my prediction that Mr Fudge Pachter will get a brain some day.
i think it will follow a simular path to gta3
gat3
gta3 vice city
gta3 san andreas
gta4 is set in liberty as is gta3 so why not
gta4 vice city
gta4 san andreas
If it's made for Xbox 360, ROCKSTAR, YOU BETTER DO TWO DVD'S. I WILL NOT BUY THIS GAME (EVEN FOR THE PS3) IF ITS ON ONLY ONE DVD BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL SUCK JUST LIKE IV DID.
strange did he say that he thought that GTA V would be out by the end of this year or something like that, don’t really know cause i try not pay any attention to what he says cause he’s usually be wrong.
Hope not!
I mean, I can see them doing it but its getting boring. we need new locations outside of America.
R* have covered the American cities worth doing. any others are just the same thing with different paint.
anyhow
"Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick, on the other hand, said earlier this year that 2010 will be "a year that won't have a multiplatform release of a new GTA.""
Only those two gta iv expantion packs for ps3 then?
When it comes to Pachter, take "everything" he says with a grain of salt... lots of grains of salt...
... because salt is sour and Pachter always hits a sour note.
GTA Toronto anyone?
i expect the gta4 dlc' to be out on the ps3 in 2010.
salt is salty
Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick, on the other hand, said earlier this year that 2010 will be "a year that won't have a multiplatform release of a new GTA."
.. multiplatform being the key word?
and after DLC they have to work on PS3 exclusive Agent and then after that is released do they have free time to actually make a new GTA.
if they make a GTA V then i think it will be entirely new. think about it the only real hard thing for them to do is come up with a story. we've played the old ones already. its time for something new and fresh.
I think they should do a new location for the next one, a place with all four seasons. I wanna run ppl over with a ski-doo. Give up on liberty city already! I haven't finished a single gta situated in liberty city cuz the city is dull. Theres already like 4 gtas in liberty city god dammit. The next one should also have a map thats as big or bigger than san andreas.
