Saw - Image 1Happy Halloween! That new Saw V movie comes out this weekend; are any of you guys planning to catch it? If not, maybe you'd want to play it instead? Folks waiting for the Saw game will have another year's worth of waiting to do though.

With the release of the new movie, Brash Entertainment has re-released a previous press release (dating back to January 2008, wot wot?) to remind everyone that Saw will be heading to the PS3 and Xbox 360 come October 2009.

If you haven't heard of the game yet, it's set to follow a new story arc that's in between the first and second movies. It continues:

In an effort to stay true to the SAW Universe, Brash is working closely with the SAW creators, Leigh Whannell and James Wan, ensuring the game pulls no punches, and delivers the horrifying suspense and disbelief that has floored fans worldwide.

"What's the deal about story arcs? Isn't Saw just all about gore?" Ha! Whatever your opinion might be, the game doesn't look like something to be laughed at. Bad as the movies may have gotten, they're pulling out all the stops on this video game and even throwing in the Unreal Engine 3.

thats lame, Saw should only be a movie...wats up wit people trying to make games into movies and vice versa? noting that most of them are crappy...and Saw is just known for their cute little ways of killing...

The game will ruin Saw, leave it as a movie!
