The newest release of the video game SingStar, published and developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and SCE Studios London, was announced at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007. Featuring 144 songs to purchase online, you won't be running out of songs to sing any time soon. So how do you get these tracks? You can access them via the PlayStation's SingStore.
The SingStore is an online store where one can purchase tracks and where players can create their own customized playlist. If users also have a USB camera, they can upload videos or pictures of themselves singing. These videos or pictures will then be made available for others SingStar fans to view and rate.
The original SingStar on the PlayStation2 (PS2) sold 7 million units (in disc!) while delivering a staggering 200 million songs to users. The fans of the previous video game will undoubtedly be eager to get a copy of this game. If you have no idea on how the game looks like, you can check out the screenshots below.
