Official European Playstation 3 site goes live! |

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have announced that their Official PlayStation 3 website has gone live as of today using an email sent out to all playstation.com members. This comes a very long time after the US PS3 site went live, eventually giving europeans interested in the PS3 an official website. Although currently the website has nothing of real use to prospective PS3 buyers, the site "will grow and change as information becomes available". The site will be updated to display information about the PS3s technical specification (hopefully with info we haven't seen before) and launch games available for the PS3.
Currently all you can do is sign up for a PS3 newsletter and visit the official PS3 forums, but you can be sure that it'll be updated with the latest news as it comes in, just like QJ.net. The only thing I'm questioning is that the email sent out says that "eu.playstation.com/PS3 will become the definitive resource for everything next gen". Does this mean we'll be seeing Wii and Xbox360 news on this site? Fat chance!
