October 9 release for Team Fortress 2 confirmed |
Ó
We all know that over the years, Valve has developed a big following with their work on the Half-Life franchise and all the variants that came along with it. On that note, October 9th should be a date to mark if you're a shooting game fan.On that particular date, Valve in cooperation with EA UK will release a trio of new titles driven by Source. In the trifecta will be Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal.
Valve is overseeing the trio's development for the PC and Microsoft Xbox 360 while EA UK has its hands full on the Sony PlayStation 3 version. There have been rumors of a delay for the PS3 version, but official sources did not comment on the issue.
Half-Life 2 follows the same sci-fi shooting backdrop with an unraveling storyline, while Team Fortress 2 is a derivative designed to foster team play where functioning as a cohesive unit is essential to success. Meanwhile, Portal is also a shooter, but its main distinction is that it makes players think more by solving puzzles as much as shooting the uglies.

Yay good news.
School starts back up before this ***** comes out! *EXPLODES*
Yeah, and Valve also has developed a habit of not releasing things when they say they are.
