Apparently, them lads call Halo 3 both a first-person shooter and shoot 'em up. We don't know if it's human error or some sort of miscommunication, but footage of what was supposed to be the "Halo killer" back in the day played while BBC's anchor talked about Halo 3's much anticipated release.
Nintendo's Wii Sports was also mentioned as something very simplistic yet still manage to outsell shoot 'em up games (Galaga, is that you?). Believe in pressing the play button and finish the fight entire video, then you'll see what we're talking about.

Everytime the BBC cover Videogames it's cringeworthy.....they're clueless. They should get the spotty teen Tea-boy to do the piece rather than some suits who've most likely never played a game before.
youre all so stupiddd. They didnt show killzone thinking it was halo 3, they stopped talking about halo and went on to talk about how the games industry is rivaling cinema, dvd and music. And how they have become more realistic, therefore they shows a very cinematic clip of killzone.
Actually, if you bothered to watch the video, you'd see that the caption on the screen says "Halo 3 video game" when they're playing the clip.

Yes...all the hype surrounding Halo, the only game that lives up to it is Killzone2. lol. Honest mistake.

No they dont look the same, Halo is really ranbow kind of colorful and killzone 2 is more realistic and dark (and more graphics). One of my brothers friends that has both a 360 and a PS3 go halo and said they dont like the bright colors (and she has a HDTV). So.. idk I think graphicly killzone 2 murders a lot of games.

The usual line about 'one of my friends' or 'one of my brother's friend' or 'a friend of a friend' or 'a friend of my sister's best friend's cousin' etc.... ;)
I dont need to lie over that game first off. second I really dont care if you believe me..lol
But all you have to do is play or see a video and compare it to killzone 2 and I think you'll get the picture.
Kiilzone 2's realtime cinematic looks great, but the gameplay graphics are nothing beyond what we're seeing in games like COD4 (except the textures in KZ2 were a lower res than I would like, but perhaps that will improve in the final game).
So yes, if I compare the GAMEPLAY graphics of Killzone 2 to the GAMEPLAY graphics of Halo 3, then I fail to see where it 'murders a lot of games', much less Halo 3.
Besides, I think the graphics in Halo 3 looks great, and are a big improvement over Halo 2.

But whatever you may think of the graphics, it's the gameplay that counts (remember?), and KZ2 will have a lot to live up to, especially given the quality of Halo 3's gameplay (as reflected in the excellent review scores).
We'll see what happens. :)
I was talking bout the GAMEPLAY in the first place bud, actually I see the gameplay looks better than the cinematic. You fail to see it because your a dumbas5 thats all. COD4 and killzone 2 both have lots of graphics, its just they based COD4 on real realistic things (like real life), but killzone 2 is base on science fiction type stuff (thats why it has a different style). But halo 3 back on topic.. Halo 3 dosnt match up to either one of them (killzone 2 or CoD4). + gameplay is looking good so far so we'll see about that.

BTW, the irony of your insult is that it should be "you are" or "you're", not "your". i.e. "you're a dumbas5" not "your a dumbas5". *cough* ... so moving on :)
Anyway, I'm not talking about settings, we ALL know COD4 is not science fiction based like KZ2 and Halo 3, but the fact that KZ2 and COD4 goes for a more muted colour palette and a ruined war torn look whereas Halo has always gone for a more colourful graphical style, doesn't make one better than the other, it's all down to personal preference!

In your opinion that is. In my opinion, it's a different graphical style which looks equally as good, and I prefer the gameplay of games like Halo over that of a games like COD. It remains to be seen if KZ2 is equally well received, both in single player and multiplayer.
