Nyko's Zero: Next-gen gaming control for next-gen platforms |
Ó
Nyko Tech, a company that specializes in all sorts of digital peripherals that you don't need but must have, is targeting all you next-gen gamers out there with Zero.
Zero is the company's new line of game controllers for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PC that promises to make all other third-party controllers obsolete. We know that's quite a promise, but Nyko seems confident that Zero will do the job. With the way the company described it you'd think Zero was based on technology handed by an advanced alien civilization.
Nyko says Zero has a "higher level of sophistication" that combines precision, style and innovation. We have yet to meet a consumer who can resist something like that.
According to Nyko Technologies product pusher, "The industry is on the cusp of the next evolutionary step in gaming, and serious gamers demand a higher level of sophistication and control. We strove to exceed those standards by designing a high-end product that provides players with the highest quality components to ensure accurate response and durability."
Can't wait to get your gaming hands on Zero? The next-gen game controller will be available next month.

Maybe if they told us ANYTHING about it, we'd try to give a *****. 'Revolutionary' controllers are often promised, but very very rarely delivered. And most are priced at 5x what a normal controller is. People aren't willing to pay that for a controller that's really only marginally better than usual. There's another problem, though. Games are designed with a certain style of controller in mind. Changing that style means that at least some games will play sub-optimal. Get real, Nyko.
I can't wait for someone to come out with a controller better than the Wiimote for use on PS3 or 360. I don't know why but I would just love to see Nintendo who put all thier eggs in the wiimote basket to drop that basket, smash all the eggs, make an omlet with it, throw in some mushrooms bacon and cheese, pour a glass of orange juice, cook some toast, maybe have a bowl of cereal with it. Or smash all the eggs on reggies face and fart on his mouth and see if he is capable of talking in a manner other than a lifeless robot who practiced his speech a million times to his dog and 2 year old daughter.
What is this God-like controller? This, master of the gaming tool? This magical controller a gamer must live for? Only time will tell.... lol.
There IS ABSOLOUTELY NOTHING LIKE A KEYBOARD & MOUSE -Sincerely Mr.ATIX
Its a trackball in the place of the right joystick. Microsoft announced a bit of a teaser for this earlier on. I think it was supposed to be first party but maybe MS sold the rights to Nyko. It should give for better handling on aiming for FPS's, though it will probably be hard to get used to. Im buying one, just for the sake of having it. Notice the red ball in the logo Zero? And you can see a little bit of the ball if you look hard at the teaser website.
