NYKO to launch Media Hub accessory for PlayStation 3 |
Ó
As you may have guessed based on its specs, this accessory was built with the 40 GB PlayStation 3 in mind, since that particular SKU only carries two USB ports and lacks a flash card reader. On a side note, it also fits pretty well into the PS3's contours, ensuring it won't stand out like a sore thumb.
Nyko's Media Hub accessory for the PlayStation 3 is expected to go on sale this August, with an expected retail price of US$ 19.99. Drop by again in case we receive news on any related topics.

this is neat, and am i first to comment.
Quite ugly but better than having nothing at all. **Hugs 60GB**
Yup, loves me my 60 gig.
U just want to know because that would be cool. but i really dont care Comes out for PS3 awesome. but some one asnwer my question =^p
It won't fit in the USB port (back or front) without a USB extender. I also hear that the Xbox360 does not support cards to save game data on.
My gripe with the 40GB is not the USB or even the lack of BC.. I miss the SD slot! SD is really the best way to port save data.. and whenever I plan to go play on a 40GB, I'm outta luck.
If you have a cell phone with a usb port you can plug that in, and save your game data. Most Moto's work. I use that for my profile on sports games so I don't have to change the controls every time I play at my friends house. I even put movies, music, and wallpapers on it. Take it to his house plug it in and copy them over.
This is great and all but wouldn't the thousands of other USB hubs already on the market work just fine? Not sure why this is such a relief to folks. All in all this looks more convenient.
