Just a few more weeks and the English version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will finally be released in North America. Set your materia to June 2, if you're willing to dish out some extra bucks just to see those extended scenes (around 25 minutes' worth). Here's one step closer to the retail release: an English trailer for Square Enix's full-length CG movie.

Oh, and about that last bit saying that the Blu-ray will include an "exclusive sneak peek at Final Fantasy XIII video game," please don't be misled - that's not the demo. It's just probably going to be some trailer for the game.

And yes, I just checked: the US version will have Japanese audio available (and English subs, of course)! Not that the English dubbing was botched up as horribly appalling as One Piece 4Kids... but yeah, I understand that some of you might prefer the original voice cast for most of the stuff that come out of Japan.

That's why it's called the Japanese version.

» umm..

hey buddy there was english audio, which probably took more time to put than to embed a subtitle file in to the massive blu ray media. and most blu ray movies come with english subtitles. please don't reply if you don't know what you are saying.

All Japanese DVD's/Home media and even games I bought never came with English subtitles. There few, but those are the titles that I didn't buy.

The "most Blu Ray" movies you are saying are probably films from Hollywood or outside Japan. FFVII:ACC is from Japan and just like any other DVD's(Anime, J-Movies, J-Drama and so on), it will be rare to be included with English subtitles.

I don't know why you'll have to argue that just because there's an English audio track, English subtitles must be there. It does not make sense.

And for your information, I have a copy of FFVII:ACC with FFXIII demo too. I do not know how you know that "I do not know what I am saying".

Well, the box says that it "only" has Japanese subtitles. I bet the store you bought it from also told you so. So why did you buy it if you know you are gonna buy the US version later on?

It seems they already cut the price on it.
