Fallout 3 arrives in October - Image 1

Don those anti-radioactive suits, people! Reports are coming in that Fallout 3 has already gone nuclear nukuler gold. Typically, these kinds of announcements come in the form of a press release by the developer or publisher, but this time, the report hails from European Fallout 3 distributor, Ubisoft.

No confirmation yet from Bethesda, but we'll take what we can - there's no outright denial from Bethesda either. The game gets released soon anyways, so going gold right about now fits within scheduled range.

Bethesda Softworks' Fallout 3 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC will hit retail shelves at the end of October.

Not going to bother with "Nuked Oblivion: Featuring Guns". The REAL Fallout ended with the 2nd game. This just has "Fallout 3" slapped on the box to fool people into thinking it's an actual Fallout game.

» Yeah

I'm not buying "Oblivion with Guns". I don't care if this is a good game. As long as it has the number 3 on the box I will not buy it!

If this were called "Fallout: Apocalypse", it'd be different. But this is not a sequel.

I think Far Cry 2 will be better. At least it looks like it from the video i've seen.

» Why all the senseless Fallout 3 hate?

If you really refuse to buy what looks to be an amazing game because it has a 3 at the end and is not a true successor to your precious Fallout 2, you're an idiot, plain and simple.

On top of that, if you won't even give 3 a try, you're not a Fallout fan.
