Nomura promises more Final Fantasy Versus XIII on E3 2010 |

The last we've heard of Final Fantasy Versus XIII was at the TGS 09 about a month ago. While Square Enix has been hit with criticisms as to the in-development footage of the game, Tetsuya Nomura has now come out to clear out the air by divulging some more information on the matter.In the latest issue of Famitsu, Nomura addresses the issue:
That wasn't development stuff, but a technical demo reel of sorts. We hurriedly put together a video because we wanted people to be assured that Versus is also still under development.
See, the footage shown during TGS wasn't for show, it was for assurance. That the game is still on, and that it has not been shelved. It may be taking the backseat for now to Final Fantasy XIII, but don't worry, Nomura promises that they'll have something for you to sate your Versus appetites by E3 of 2010.
It's quite a wait, but here's hoping it'll be all worth it.

i might be wrong, but isnt E3 earlier in the year?, so it will be about 6 months or so away, whereas TGS was the one that just passed by :), so hopefully that makes it a bit better lol
E3 2010 is in June...like it always is.
What The Hell does versus in FF XIII mean?? Is this one gonna be a fighting game or sumthin??
Naww, not a fighting game, its a real time ff game, so like kh fighting style integrated into ff i believe, and its prob bout 2 sides opposing each other, creating conflict, hence the versus. But hey, thats just my belief lol
Will be an Action RPG that will focus more on the action side of things so I expect this to be more entertaining than FFXIII (straight forward RPG).
FF Agito XIII will also be an Action RPG but it should be more like Crisis Core (with multiplayer elements).
Versus XIII is a completely independent story, although set in the same universe as FFXIII, it features different characters and has a different visual design.
I'm really looking forward to this.
we'll probably be pretty busy with FFXlll US release during late March near early April if i got the correctish date 4 it.......Even if FF vs.Xlll was already done they won't release it anytime soon b4 slow @$$ FFXlll reaches US shores....which I will play the hell out of that
would be great, although I hope they do show in game footage looking at how good XIII looks I have high hopes for VS XIII, considering its still a PS3 exclusive at the moment, I want to see if they can indeed make it better if they stick to the PS3 but time will tell.
