No leather pants for you: Velvet Assassin not going to be on PS3 |

PS3 owners won't be kicking Nazi butt in skintight leather pants? Say it ain't so, Replay Studio.
Gamecock confirmed today that Replay Studios will not be making Velvet Assassin (Xbox 360, PC) for the PS3 as they found that their game engine simply does not support the Sony console.
According to a Gamecock rep, "Replay Studios started off as a PC development team, then branched into 360 development as the transition was 'relatively simple', but their engine does not support PS3."
Velvet Assassin is a WWII stealth action game based on the real life secret agent/saboteur, Violette Szabo (renamed Violette Summer for the game). The game is slated for release early 2009 for the Xbox 360 and the PC.

so nothing of a development company. making some nothing of a game, says the engine just wont work on sonys console lol.
I laugh because the ps3 was never their goal to begin with or the damned game would very damn well work on "sonys console"
They say this because microsoft said jump and they said how high lol.
well in closing. I wish all the best to this nothing of a tiny developer. and hope that somehow they can recover from their losses when this POS title flops.

considering the power over the 360 i find uit hardto believe that it simply wont run on ps3 more likely they dont have a clue how to do it simply cuz of inexpirience
i find it hard for myself to disagree with the poster above
it just say their engine is not supported by PS3, not that the PS3 doesn't have the power to run it, this is just another case of lazy developers, nothing else.
Very good.. But it's like having SAM and GABE in one game as a sexy tight a$$ chick. Sorry for Replay Studios as this game will not be on the PS3. And sorry for the gamers too since the majority now own a PS3 and counting. So if you really want to make $$$$ dev it on PS3 and make your name big in this industry.
There will come a point when so many 360's are mod'd that devs wont be making as much money off 360 and PS3 will start to look more promising. However, you have to make a good game, so that people actually WANT to buy it....
