An impressive roster of publishers today announced that they'll all be joining forces to bring us "the ultimate crossover RPG," Cross Edge to western shores.
The game will be co-developed by Nippon Ichi Software America, Idea
Factory, Gust, Namco Bandai, and Capcom, and it will feature characters
from titles published by those companies.Five characters were announced today: Etna (Disgaea), Aurica (Ar Tonelico), Marie (Atelier Marie), Meu (Spectral Souls), and Morrigan (Darkstalkers). Gameplay will consist of comboing foes to a pulp, and using skills based on the combinations used. An option to change character costumes will be available as well, and this will affect their respective abilities.
Cross Edge will not be crossing platforms, though. This one's a PS3 exclusive, and it's slated for a May release. News is a bit old, but hey, good to know for those who haven't heard yet.

namco x capcom should be also be ported properly.
