Nine year old boy hero gets PlayStation 3 direct from Sony

Matty Lovo Jr saves dad, gets PS3 as reward - Image 1

Remember little Matty Lovo Jr. who saved himself and his dad last month when he took control of a runaway truck? You know, the little boy hero who asked for a PlayStation 3 live on CNN after the incident. Well, eventually Sony got wind of the 9-year-old's story and decided to give him one.

Matty's dad, Matthew Lovo Sr., was given a lot of offers from folks who wanted to pitch in and give the boy his PS3 but declined while thanking the community. Eventually though, Sony offered to give a console as a gift, and Lovo Sr. agreed. Matty Jr. was given the console on KGW in Oregon last Wednesday.

Kids may say the darndest things, but sometimes it just pays off. Big time.

So everything is just a joke to you? Why did you buy a PS3? If you hate it so much why don't you get rid of it? This boy has saved a persons life and all you do i making biased retarded statements about the PS3. Besides the PS3 is doing better than the Xbox 360 did in the beginning and that's why you're desperate.

Thanks, but Im fully aware of and abide by the rules here at QJ. Ive been a member for almost two years now, youve been here, what, a month, two months tops? If anything you should read those rules again. At least my original comment was on topic with the article, all your comment seems to be is a flame directed towards me.

And why would I be desperate over anything to do with either of the consoles? It isnt my money riding on their respective futures.

you're right man. he should be happy with the fact that not only is his dad still alive, but so he! he was in the car too. but really, i dont know if i think he should have gotten that PS3. as soon as he opened his mouth to ask for one, his deservedness (i hope thats a word) went down the drain. just be happy w/ what you've got!
