Square Enix has a lot to be happy about. Their Cavia-developed action-RPG, Nier, has been selling like hotcakes in Japan, especially the PS3-exclusive version.
The PS3-exclusive Nier Replicant, which isn't being released internationally, has reportedly already sold out according to various Japanese retailers. Square Enix will be shipping more copies over the weekend to appease the demand.
Meanwhile, Nier Gestalt, which is also available on 360 and is the one the West is getting, is has also reportedly gotten pretty hard to find although that may be due to Square Enix shipping a smaller amount of it compared to Replicant.
