Virtua Fighter 5 is the fifth iteration of the franchise and hosts 17 of the world's best fighters. A company called J6 is the organizer of the new tournament and they intend to use it to advance the development of a new Dural project.
The Virtua Fighter franchise has been around since the mid-90s and, along with Tekken, was a pioneer in the 3D fighting game genre. Like its rival, the game was a polygon showcase in its heyday and was a favorite in arcades and in consoles.
Roughly a year after the Japanese release of Virtua Fighter 5, Sega is ready to take the Xbox 360 version of the game to the West and we've got seven new screenshots which showcase how it looks. Check them out:
