Could you imagine? GoW2 already ended pretty epic, and this one... it's only a trailer, but dayum, it's got so much stuff in it I don't know where to start! Kratos having not one, but two gauntlets equipped, then there's the whole "control the Cyclops" run, and ooh, if you know how GoW2 ended, you'll probably know where this trailer is set.
Here's another trailer - this time a video interview about how SCE is going through the design process of this game.
Now finally, we also hear from 1Up that Sony is going to announce the game's release date come June of this year, during E3. Yeap. We're guessing the game could be released on March 2010, but until E3, there's no way of confirming that yet.

*Update* So you've seen the trailer and the dev interview, now why don't we chuck in some high-res screens too?! As you'll notice, some of these screens were the ones shown in the video interview above.
We also get an update via MTV Multiplayer. A Sony rep has confirmed that the trailer above is indeed taken from real-time footage (as if there were any doubts to begin with).
Yes, you'll be able to do all that once you get your copy of the game. But why isn't the HUD there? The life and magic bars? No orbs from enemies? No QTE buttons during the Cyclops take-down? Well, as MTV says, "Sony has confirmed to us that those elements were removed from the trailer for presentation purposes only."

Seriously, to all you guys saying you're underwhelmed by the GoW3 footage, look, stop being such *****s. Let's just say if GoW3 is as awesome as that trailer makes it look I will be more than satisfied.
Okay, so maybe I was a little overzealous when I said Heavenly Sword has everything GoW3 has, but nobody can deny this trailer looks amazing. Lets hope it doesn't have a short campaign and some replay value. Multiplayer anyone?

You do realize that that trailer there was gameplay footage right? The first trailer was blatantly a trailer, all CGI, this one is actual gameplay, coupled with voice track.
The FIRST trailer was clearly CGI, I'm not sure it would ever be physically possible to create that sort of image in realtime. But there was
some footage on spike TV, and QJ and the man himself, David Jaffe said 'meh'. I was reffering to that and this trailer.

seriously... all of this because the gods didnt bring back his family (or something like that, i forgot the story...so please forgive me if im wrong) there are 100's of ppl who lose there families almost every minute...they dont go on killing sprees and kill gods

some replay value? the previous gows had those, and those little sidequests were impossible for me. Short campaign? I predict 15hr gameplay... and no online multiplayer, probably will have online ranking or something.

I didn't say GoW had a short campaign or no replay value. If anything, I was referring to Heavenly Sword because of said reasons. Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica was looking for "an online gameplay
programmer to join the team," so we can't dismss multiplayer in GoW3 just yet.
that giant earth creature at the end that looks like its made of rock and trees... whaaaatt?? is he gonna have to take that thing on? insane

That giant earth thing is Gia (the Mother of Earth in greek mythology)
lol just imagine if you did "carry" her around :P(Kratos would be one strong mother****** to carry a titan around :P)

well we all know sony is taking the low blow ad campaign of mocking the xbox, which i agree is sad. HOWEVER imagine they took KRATOS and had him brutally destroy an xbox 360 monster oooo that would be cruel but so exciting to watch, probably an effective ad campaign also lol.
Think of the million's of ppl who would love/hate to see that (i know i would love it :P)
Haven't seen the trailer yet since I'm getting it on the PSN (1080 FTW) but the screenshots I've seen show Kronos, father of the Gods.

I thought the huge and awesome amount of exclusives for psp lined up will make this the best year ever, but its all crashing.

are not for psp and both systems have awesome stuff coming out locoroco2 heavy rain are just some off the top of my head

but yea, psp seems to have a decent lineup. I wish they'd just release birth by sleep already!! It was announced like 3 years ago!!!! I hate this idiot company squeenix that decides to make 10 games at the same time, so they don't come out for years.
Make 1 FFXIII, and 1 KH game. I'll be happy.
I guess Killzone 2 will carry this year mainly tho.
