New Team Fortress 2 maps still undecided for consoles |
Ó
If you're a console gamer who's hoping to get more maps for Team Fortress 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), then we've got some bad news for you. Despite earlier news we reported about Valve preparing new maps and content for Team Fortress 2, Valve marketing VP Doug Lombardi recently mentioned that the said plans for bringing new maps and content to the console versions of Team Fortress 2 remain undecided.
This is somewhat disheartening, considering that the PC version of the game has received a lot of added content, in the form of two new maps, a new gameplay mode, and some new unlockable weapons. Hopefully, we'll get confirmation on whether or not they're pushing through with updates for the consoles soon.

Well since they said they were strongly considering patching the PS3 version for Half Life 2's framerate lag and TF2's disconnect problems, they just might as well do it with the PS3 too, especially since it has tons of space to fit it. As for the 360, it's possible but I doubt it.
But Valve only support the 360 version, EA supports the PS3 version. Its up to EA on whether your boat gets any fixes.
