We've known for quite some time that the sequel to the PS2 game Stuntman will go next-gen and head on to both the Xbox 360 and PS3. That was back in April when it was revealed that THQ has acquired the rights to the Stuntman franchise from Atari. We've also come to expect significant changes in the game as it's now being developed by Paradigm Entertainment. But really, they're all just speculations.

But it seems THQ is slowly revealing PS3 details about Stuntman 2 through German magazine Playzone. Unfortunately, our German is just as good as Babelfish's. So, from what we've gathered, Stuntman 2 will feature the following:
  • 36 missions in six films
  • Over 20 vehicles
  • Online multiplayer with splitscreen
  • Online Rank lists
If you would recall, Stuntman for the PS2 centered around the career of a motion-picture stuntman who performs death-defying stunts in six films. If you easily survived the stunts unscathed, then the 36 films in the PS3 version should really be a big challenge.

We're pretty sure there are more info about Stuntman 2, but due to our limited German skills, we are only able to give you the highlights. The good thing is that these are high quality scans from the magazine, so our German friends can read the article, and perhaps share some juicy info we might have missed.

If your German is as good as ours, then you might want to check out the images before the game finally hits the shelves in Summer 2007.
