New Street Fighter IV screens: Gouken beats the, uh, chi out of Ryu

Ryu's no Karate Kid, and Gouken's no Mister Miyagi (although he does sport the same bald dome). Here's the first batch of screenshots for Gouken in Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360), showing us all that he can beat the *cough* Chi out of his old student Ryu any day of the week. His moves are pretty slick for someone who's supposed to be dead.

New media are out showing off several familiar moves, including the helicopter kick, the hadouken, and the patented uppercut. There are several new ones as well; what can you expect from the master of Ken and Ryu? Man this guy's a monster. He looks like he has twice the body mass of Ryu, and all made of muscle.

Here's gameplay vid of Gouken in action beating up on poor Abel (although Abel gets his in the second round). Thanks to duy817 for pointing out the vid! Screenshots follow after.

I am a big of Street Fighter and it took me some time to learn everybody's super-moves in street fighter alpha 3 and 3rd strike. The verus series of street fighter, the supermoves / super combos are easy to excute.

You know this is all cool and all, but what the heck happened to Street Fighter HD?

lol that game was supposed to be out in 2007.

2008 is almost over and we still havent seen any OTHER character besides Ryu And Ken in action.



Gouken looks awesome though.
