For those who just can't get enough of the adrenaline rush induced by F1 cars and races, then this one's for you. The latest batch of screenshots for the PS3 game Formula One Championship Edition (a.k.a. Formula One 2006 to the Western World) has just been released.

Featuring the cars and drivers of the 2006 series, the game also boasts of superb audio and visual quality, as well as an engine which simulates the look as well as effects of weather to the tracks and the racers. With the level of realism that has been put into the car, the tracks and the weather, it comes as no surprise that the amount of damage that the vehicle receives in collisions are all realistic.

So, while we wait for the actual release date, here are some screenshots for your viewing pleasure.

yea this doesnt look very "next gen" look at the second pic, the grass textures remind me of the grass textures from madden ps2 launch title(not sure of the year :) ), the reflections are also terrible it just looks like the car is driving on glass or ice, it has the reflections just no real sight of water. Overall I must say the close ups on the car look very good, but not THAT great.
