Battlefield: Bad Company

It would still take around one whole year before Battlefield: Bad Company officially jumps to next-gen consoles X360 and PS3. That's August 1, 2007 to be exact. Fans then need not worry about the seeming lack of update from developer Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and editor Electronic Arts (EA).

But it appears the two just know how to thread fans and keep them on their toes. Every now and then they dish out something to keep the talk and anticipation alive like what they did today with these few screenshots. Again we say, it's better than nothing.

What EA has promised so far is that 90% of the game environment can be blown to pieces and razed to the ground. The game mixes the old and the new, as it sticks to the traditional Battlefield sandbox gameplay and uses Digital Illusion's Frostbite Engine.

This single player-focused game features soldiers behind enemy lines that fight not for honor and glory, but for wealth and vengeance.
