So we all thought one day soon, we would be playing video games and they look like movies. We may not be there yet, but this has got to be the closest I've seen. The texture map work in the image is incredible, and if the physics engine lives up to all the hype, the gameplay for this is going to be INSANE.
Lair, the highly-anticipated next-gen project from the development team Factor 5 for the PlayStation 3, is an exclusive action game that has been described as "teeming with dragons."

finally an actual shot of gameplay. This looks incredible. I hope this game comes out near launch cause I want It as soon as possible.
I could only imagine how that would look on a high deff screen, man that game would be soo kickass.

Look at the squad commands in the upper left corner, you haven't looked at it yet since all you've been staring at is the incredible looking dragon.
From the looks of it I can see one more dragon far off in the back, and due to the commands in the corner I'm getting the feeling that this game is sort of a dragon riding, fire spewing, ACE Combat Zero meets reign of fire type game. I wounder...would you still call a DOG FIGHT a Dog fight in this case or would you call it some bastardized version of it like "LOOK UP IT"S A MOTHERA"

120,000 polygons indeed(what factor 5 stated was used for each dragon , along with 10 different maps)
That is some crazy detail, If thats how the real game looks like then they werent lying when they said they would make a system that could produce realtime graphics on par with CG movies. That looks too good and clean to be a game but if it is then the PS3 will win this generations console wars hands down.
That is VERY impressive but Vietone, let's not get all fanboyish. I am for the PS3 but if it doesn't live up to the expectations, I guess I'm not getting anything at all. Graphics mean a lot to gaming, but it doesn't necesarilly mean good gameplay.

looks good, but it looks like a 360 game. Backing up the fact that the ps3 and 360 will both produce great looking games.
what are u talking about this is amazing movie like quality unlike the 360 which is just prettier xbox graphics
This game looks kick ass, I'm gonna get a PS3 so I can play it.
