PlayStation Store - Image 1

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that on Thursday (that would be a few hours from now), the PlayStation Store would have a playable game demo for Def Jam: Icon, several videos for Resistance: Fall of Man, and some movie trailers from Sony and Paramount Pictures.

The movie trailers are for Disturbia, Premonition, and Shooter. The videos for Resistance: Fall of Man is said to include several behind the scenes vids and a trailer for the game.

You know what? All this would be really nice to download if they only hurry up with that background downloading fix. Oh well, at least it's all free. (or so GameDaily.biz claims).

Anger.

Where is the Mortal Kombat 2? Seriously... Why even give a release date for something if you aren't going to follow it. Oh well, guess I'll just go wait another 1000 years.

If they don't put up mortal kombat 2, that'll be a serious slap in the face after they confirmed its release date to be 3/15.

No

To all of you saying Mortal Kombat 2 was supposed to be released on 3/15, you are wrong. That was only a rumor. Sony has never officially confirmed any of it (or else it would have made headlines)

Dear Mr. Blogger

When writing about this stuff. Stop reminding people what Sony needs to do. Rather concentrate on the stuff that will be coming out. I mean does it really matter when they come out with it? By the time this happens, they will make another announcement on what they will have available for the next firmware. So just give it a rest already. geez.

-----^8^

If you really want to experience MKII exactly the way it was in the arcades back in 1995, check out Mame. Midway Arcade Treasures is full of glitches and isn't even close to being arcade perfect like they say it is. Plus if it shows up at PS store they will charge a bunch for something that you can have for free and a million times better.

I want my MK2 dammit

No F'n way, MK2 better come out 3/15, I was all pumped and *****, I have my Hori PS3 stick on the way and was ready for some Tekken 5 DR, Virtua Fighter 5, and MK 2 fighting awesomeness.

Sony has never officially confirmed any of it (or else it would have made headlines)" It was confirmed, check back a few days ago to the game releases for this week. Confirmed ps3 titles were College Hoops 2k7 and Mortal Kombat 2, gg.

.

You can play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on the XBOX 360 which was out for some time or download one of 30 other arcade classics since sony can't even manage to get a few arcade games on their online service.

Cool

I was hoping for some arcade action but a demo will be nice. Mr. Common Sense... first off the XBLA has been ridiculed by many in the industry as being the worst of the three which is sad seeing that PSN really doesn't have that many but what they have are money compared to Live Arcade. Titles like Blast Factor; Guns, Cash, & Ammo; Grand Turismo HD, Formula Racing, Q-bert and the big one Flow have shown us what a great thing downloads can be. However it wouldn't hurt to speed up them downloads and be able to either pick a few downloads right away or maybe be able to do something else while downloading. Other than that the Playstation Store already is superior in quality games than XBLA along with Wii with it's consistance and great games they put out as well.

Interesting...

I notice you "Mister Commnon Sense" has been posting your pro XBOX 360 crap in almost every sony related forum on QJ.NET Why? Whats your purpose. It seems you spend more time on Sony related forum than your beloved 360. Are you afraid? Are you in secure about your 360? Are you gay or something? I'm just helping you out bud, we sony fans dont give a rats arse about what you or any of your XBOX clowns have to say. Stop wasting your own time. Go download one or all of the 30 other arcade classics and enjoy them on your SUXBOX :)
