New Nippon Ichi Game for Sony System |

Nippon Ichi, the creators of Disgaea and a ton of other SRPGs, has opened up a teaser site for an upcoming game. It looks like the game will be revealed in Dengeki PlayStation. This obviously means that the new game will be on a PlayStation platform. Chances are that it's a ps2">PS2 game or maybe a PSP game. However, we can't rule out the possibility that it's on the PS3! Then again, Sony may want HD in all the games and that's not exactly something Nippon Ichi is interested in...but still, anything is possible.
The magazine will be revealed on September 8th. We don't know who exactly the two characters in the image are. The game is almost definitely an SRPG though since Nippon Ichi is most well-known in that particular genre.

Disgaea was great, this one should be better!
According to an IGN in a preview article for the Disgaea it confirms that Nippon Ichi are indeed making an all new PSP RPG. :) (correct me if this is wrong)
Sorry if i got anybody's hopes up but the article i was reffering to actually says that Nippon Ichi has removed its interests (except for the disgaea port) in the PSP and that they are developing a PS3 game named Makai Wars.
Could this be the game there reffering too?

Because Nippon Ichi isn't a particularly big company, and if any of you noticed, they tend to use the same team on all of their SRPGs, with the exception of La Pucelle: Tactics, which didn't feature the same artist. Compare this artwork to Disgaea, Phantom Brave, and Makai Kingdom, and you'll notice that the artwork isn't the same, which leads me to believe that one of 2 things is the case:
This upcoming game is being developed by another team or with a company expansion of Nippon Ichi, or
This game is only being published by Nippon Ichi.
Omg, I hope nothing goes wrong with Makai Wars. I love the Srpg games that they bring out, with a new one coming out for the PS3, it'll sure be a hit. I wonder how much it would change graphically though, I am already pleased with the graphics in Disagaea 2.
