I would be surprised if it only has two endings. The precedessor, Indigo Prophecy, had already 9 endings. I guess it will have at least twice the amout.

It's just me or there's some randomization in the outcomes as well? I noticed that in the last option the thief didn't fight the detective at all but the option chosen was the same as the previous one where they fought. Or maybe there's another mechanic involved...

i was thinking the same thing but if you remember from the first scenario, the controlled character didn't do anything and the merchant died. so, with that in mind, maybe it depends when you choose to intervene.
